3. Installation and debugging

 3.1   Rectifier cabinet shall be installed indoors.

 3.2   The following requirements shall be met after unpacking and before installation of the device:

 3.2.1 It shall not be outdoors,

 3.2.2 Check wearing parts (silicon cell, instrument, relay, indicator lamp, standard part etc.)

 3.2.3 Check whether the fasteners at joints are loose or falling.   

 3.3   Check the insulation resistance of the main circuit and control circuit (prior to testing, the two poles of the silicon cell and electric condenser shall be short circuiting, all external connecting wires on control panel shall be disconnected)

 3.4   Conduct electrical connection for main circuit according to system diagram.

 3.5   Debug the control circuit.

 3.7.1 Conduct testing (lamp testing and acoustic testing) according to circuit diagram

3.7.2   Debug the trigger circuit, limit and set the relevant values according to circuit diagram and accompanying diagram    

 3.8   On-line experiment

 3.8.1 If condition permits, the small capacity test shall be conducted in advance, connect up resistance and maintain it at R, R=UdN/5(Ω) and full opening state, adopting voltage regulator to increase the voltage to 1.1 times of DC voltage for 30 min to find whether there is abnormal in circuit, and then adjusting α to electrical angles of 30°, 60°, 90°, 120 to see whether the rectified waveform is normal or not.

 3.8.2 Phasing and no load test

          Connect up the primary power source of the rectifier transformer and then confirm the phase relationship between the main circuit and control trigger circuit, switch on the main circuit power source and control power source, check whether the phasing is correct and whether the situation of pulse shift.

 3.8.3 No load test

           Shift the pulse to full open position, transmit dc voltage 1.1 times the nominal value to the rectifier cabinet for 15min, there shall be no abnormal phenomenon. Then, adopt pulse shifter to make output voltage come near to zero, running for 5-10min under forward and reverse blocking, it shall be in normal operation and draw up no load external characteristic curve Ud=f(α).

3.9    When the device is normal in load open loop (manual) operation, it shall be subjected to closed loop control (automatic) operation, if there is oscillatory occurrence in current, adjust the W5 on TC-11 control panel to eliminate the oscillation. In general, normal operation is closed loop operation, with automatic current stabilization.
